We are closed, think snow.

Holy snow cow batman! I know, two snow report updates in one day! What a time to be alive.

We are pretty darn close. We picked up another 2” from the snow squalls today. That puts our base somewhere around 10-11ish inches. We need 14-24” to open, depending on snow density and 14 is not that far off of 11. Yay math!

As mentioned the tow has passed its annual inspection. The groomer has been dusted off and got some work done. You may have seen us testing her and the snowpack out earlier tonight. Also side note, I think we need to name the groomer.

We are ready to roll when we get that little bit more snow that we need in order to have a safe, reliable, and enjoyable skiing experience. We just need a little bit more. My eyes are still on the Storm Sunday which is forecasted to stay well south of us but I am currently digging through my garage to see if I can find a pair of old skis worthy to be sacrificed and convince whatever entity controls the weather that such a sacrifice warrants the storm to track further north.

In good news the cold weather is looking like it will hang around and even if we chip chip chip our way there, our targeted January opening is looking good. Think snow. Stay warm. Stay tuned. And good night.
